The Country Inn Offers
Local Food in a relaxing atmosphere
The Country Inn offers award winning food served in a relaxing atmosphere with Oak Beams, Open Fires and views over the Staffordshire Peak District.
You can expect fresh, seasonal ingredients with modern British Cuisines from their famous Signature Dishes to traditional favourites such as pies, steaks, gourmet burgers and Roasts. In order to deliver the very best we pride ourselves in being able to prepare and cook everything from fresh.
We take great care to hand pick and source all our ingredients as locally & regionally as possible. We love to use seasonal fruit and vegetables and in support of our local farming community, we are proud that most of our meat comes from Stafforshire farms. Our Longhorn Beef comes from Will Pearson’s Dunwood Farm in Longsdon, just 5 miles away, and our lamb mainly from Tom Allen in Foxt, just under 10 miles away.
The Country Inn has Been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for its Culinary excellence, as well as winning “The Overall Taste Winner,” 2017 & “The Best Casual Dining,” for two years running in 2017 & 2018 at the Taste of Staffordshire Awards.
