Mill Wheel Spa FAQ’s

The Mill Wheel Spa at The Three Horseshoes Country Inn provides guests with an authentic and memorable Spa Experience. Unlike most UK Spas that are primarily focused on pampering, the experiences have been specially selected from German Wellness expert Paul Haslauer to provide guests with wellbeing benefits in addition to providing relaxation.

We request that all guests use silent mode on mobile phones and refrain from taking calls. Filming and photography is not permitted in the changing areas. Smoking and the use of electronic smoking devices are not permitted within any of the indoor or outdoor spa areas.

What should I bring to the Spa?

We provide a robe & towels for your visit so you will just need to bring your swimwear plus flip flops, you can purchase flip flops from your spa host for £3.

How old do you have to be to use the spa?

To use both The Mill Wheel Spa and to have any therapist treatments the minimum age is 16 years.  Guests who are 16 or 17 years old must be accompanied by a person who is over the age of 18 years.

How do I complete my intake form?

On booking you will receive a booking confirmation via email, this confirmation will have a link which will take you to an area where you can login and complete your intake form. The link can be forwarded to all members of your party to complete their own form.

Why do need to complete an intake form?

The intake forms will help us to make an informed decision as to what treatments are suitable and ensure that you have the best experience possible. We ask that anyone having cancer treatment or suffering from major health conditions or after recently undergoing surgery please contact us directly on enquiries@threeshoesinn.co.uk to discuss your visit in further detail.

Do I have access to the spa facilities if I only book a treatment?

When booking a treatment without a half or full day you will not have access to the spa facilities, to gain access you can add a half day however this is subject to availability as we only take low numbers of spa guests to enhance the visit.

How many people do we allow in spa at one time?

We currently allow 20 guests in the spa at any one time this is to enable each guest to have their own space to switch off and really relax.

Will any medical conditions stop/restrict what I am able to do within the spa.

We recommend any guests suffering from the following to contact us directly by email on enquiries@threeshoesinn.co.uk to discuss your visit in further detail as doctors notes my be requested prior to your visit.

High/Low Blood pressure, Diabetes, Heart Conditions, Epilepsy, Cancer, Liver Conditions, Thrombosis, Kidney Condition, Thyroid or Nut allergy (some products may contain nuts)

We would recommend you consult with your midwife or doctor before visiting; we advise any guests who are pregnant to avoid using spa facilities and treatments during the first trimester (12 weeks) and within the last 4 weeks before due date. Treatments may be

Cancellation Policy

Spa Day experiences & individual treatments must be paid for at the time of booking.

These are non-refundable unless 48hrs notice is given for cancellation or to amend your booking date.

What is your largest group booking?

Maximum group size is 6 due to the size of the spa. Anything larger than this please contact us directly on 01538 300296.

Lost property

All lost property found on the premises should be handed in at Spa Reception where items will be stored for six months.

If they are not collected within this time they will be donated to local charities. Liquids, under garments/swimwear and hair brushes are kept for 24 hours only. Please be advised all valuables are left at their owner’s risk and The Three Horseshoes will not be held responsible for any losses or damage.

Do you have food & drinks on offer?

We have a selection of light snacks available including breakfast menu, hot, soft & alcoholic drinks (restricted times) and payment is requested at time of ordering.
